The saxophonist Asya Fateyeva and harpist Luise Enzian perform their own arrangement for soprano sax and Baroque harp of “Spera, mi disse amore”, which translates as “Love told me to hope”. The original song is a lover’s lament, written by the Italian Baroque composer and harpist Orazio Michi. With the combination of two instruments separated by three centuries, Fateyeva and Enzian capture a timeless feel in the melody’s yearning tone.
