SHOSTAKOVICH DISCOVERIES

Marking the 50th anniversary of Shostakovich’s death, we announce an upcoming album featuring world premiere recordings and rarities by the iconic composer, performed by artists such as Daniil Trifonov, Gidon Kremer and Nils Mönkemeyer. Most of the pieces have been recorded at the International Shostakovich Festival in Gohrisch (Saxony), the world’s only annual Shostakovich festival. Shostakovich Discoveries features almost 80 minutes of largely unknown music by the composer, as interpreted by renowned artists: a must for every Shostakovich fan.

The album will be released digitally and on CD on 23 May. The CD is now available for pre-order.
