ECHOES

Soprano Katharina Konradi and Mezzo-Soprano Catriona Morison extend their musical partnership with the release of their album ECHOES on our partner label CAvi, where they are joined by pianist Ammiel Bushakevitz. The album features duet song repertoire for two female voices and piano by Brahms, Chausson, Bonis, Saint-Saëns and Fauré, to name just some of the composers featured, renowned and lesser-known. The repertoire encompasses the feelings of reverie and love, but also further aspects both profoundly human and run-of-the-mill, presenting all imaginable colours, from everyday life to the dream world. The program includes musical settings of some of the greatest poetry of the Romantic Age such as Goethe, Mörike, Victor Hugo and Balzac
