The Magic Flute, directed by Florian Sigl, brings together classical music and contemporary cinematic genres. The timeless music of Mozart’s much-loved opera is complemented by an inventive new score by German composer Martin Stock, a former student of Ennio Morricone.
The film features a talented young cast of actor-singers alongside opera stars Sabine Devieilhe and Morris Robinson, accompanied by the Mozarteum Orchester Salzburg and conductor Leslie Suganandarajah.
