Daniel Hope pays tribute to his mentor, teacher and close friend Yehudi Menuhin with this visual album. It presents a concert filmed at Berlin’s Konzerthaus on 22 April 2016, which would have been Menuhin’s 100th birthday. Hope performs the Elgar Violin Concerto, a work famously recorded in 1932 by Menuhin and the London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the composer. Daniel Hope is joined by the Konzerthausorchester and Iván Fischer, who also perform Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra.
