Musical Moments – a series of new single-track recordings by DG artists

“Musical moments” can be moments of memories or reflection, a retrospect of the past or an anticipation of the future, that are enriched by hearing or thinking of a special piece of music in that same moment.

Every two weeks starting today we will release a new single-track recording from a carefully curated series of works which can already be or become a musical moment for everyone. Each piece is recorded by a different DG artist. We begin with Daniel Barenboim performing Chopin’s Etude Op. 25 No. 1, which is available not only as an audio but also as a visual streaming single.

Further artists in the series include Yuja Wang, Nadine Sierra, Avi Avital, Albrecht Mayer and Hilary Hahn just to name a few.
