Albrecht Meyer on Stage+
12/16/2022

In November, Deutsche Grammophon launched its new video and audio streaming service STAGE+. The platform offers the world’s greatest classical musicians up-close like never before, weekly livestreams, an exclusive video archive, over 1000 iconic classical albums, interviews, documentaries, music videos and more.

STAGE+ content includes new repertoire, livestreamed events from around the globe, outstanding concert and opera performances from the archives, and new and archived DG and Decca audio releases. Its TV, mobile and web apps will support the newest formats, including productions in 4K resolution and Dolby Atmos®.

Coming up on STAGE+

Oboist Albrecht Mayer and some of his closest musical friends, including Korean soprano Hera Hyesang Park, come together for a special Christmas celebration. Presenting seasonal favourites in intimate new arrangements, their concert from Berlin’s historic Tanzsaal an der Panke will be premiered at 5PM CET on 23 December.

Andris Nelsons and the Gewandhausorchester are joined by a superb line-up of soloists and no fewer than three Leipzig choirs for what promises to be a stirring performance of Beethoven’s monumental Ninth Symphony – the perfect New Year’s Eve celebration! Join the livestream on 31 December at 5PM CET.

Also coming up on STAGE+ soon:
