UNSUNG

Sophie Kauer was selected from hundreds of cellists worldwide to play the part of Olga, alongside Cate Blanchett in the title role, in Todd Field’s Oscar-nominated TÁR. Having also recorded some of the music from the film with the London Symphony Orchestra for DG’s recent concept album, Sophie is now set to release her first solo EP, Unsung, on which she is accompanied by pianist Kunal Lahiry in works by Nadia Boulanger, Clara Schumann, Anatoly Lyadov and Felix Mendelssohn.
