JOE HISAISHI IN VIENNA

As we lead up to the release of Joe Hisaishi’s second album for DG on 28 June, the composer-conductor, known around the globe for his film music and in particular his collaborations with studio Ghibli creator Miyazaki, now presents the first movement of his large scale symphonic work Viola Saga as a pre-release track. For this world premiere recording Hisaishi and the Wiener Symphoniker is joined by the French violist Antoine Tamestit.
