As part of our Winter Calm Series, pianist Marie Awadis presents a slow and thoughtful arrangement of Giazotto’s Adagio in G Minor. “In arranging the Adagio, I aimed to introduce a romanticism shaped by my musical perspective. With fluid arpeggios, unexpected pauses, and subtle harmonic shifts, I sought to evoke the stillness of Winter Calm, creating a reflective atmosphere that mirrors both the theme and my personal artistic character,” says Awadis.
