The composer duo Jessica Jones and Tim Morrish are the latest to create music for Project XII. The pair has brought their unique cinematic voice to film and television projects that have been in competition at Cannes Film Festival, BFI London Film Festival and BAFTA amongst many others internationally. Their new track ‘Falling Colour’ was inspired by nature, specifically the idea of a rainstorm finally breaking. The opening textured cello chords are reflective of the weight in the air before droplets begin to fall in the form of delicate violin melodies. The piece is a release of positive energy, a balletic dance like celebration that felt needed in a strange year of social restrictions.
