The electronic composer Gryr has made a rework of Lili Boulanger’s “Sometimes I’m sad” for the new series of the Fragments project, where electronic artists are invited to combine traditional and modern compositions.
Gryr comments: "In every note, I wanted to reflect the fragile moments when we find ourselves in the depths of sadness, a state that connects us all as human beings. My journey was deeply personal, and I poured my own experiences and emotions into every element of this rework. I wanted to create a musical narrative that pays tribute to Lili Boulanger’s legacy while adding my own more ‘modern’
